Watch Tina Turner perform “Proud Mary” during her 2009 farewell tour.

Tributes have been pouring in for the iconic singer - described as the “Queen of Rock & Roll” - after news of her death was announced on Wednesday 24 May.

Footage shows Turner performing one of her biggest songs in Arnhem, Netherlands, as part of her 50th anniversary tour.

“Proud Mary” is synonymous with her decades-long career and Turner even performed it ahead of Super Bowl 34 in 2000.
