Moment Taylor Swift fans cause ‘earthquake’ at Seattle concert
Footage shows fans jumping at Taylor Swift's concert in Seattle, which generated activity equivalent to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, according to a seismologist.
Jackie Caplan-Auerbach said the data recorded at the singer's Eras tour performances at Lumen Field on 22 and 23 July was caused by fans or the sound system.
"I collected about 10 hours of data where rhythm controlled the behaviour. The music, the speakers, the beat. All that energy can drive into the ground and shake it," Caplan-Auerbach told CNN.
