Sky News forced off air and presenters evacuated during live broadcast

Sky News presenters had to be evacuated from the studio during a live broadcast on Friday (15 December).

The Breakfast with Anna Jones show was interrupted at around 9.30am on Friday when the live show was cut.

Viewers were then shown a documentary on the Windrush generation.

The presenter then appeared back on the screen to issue an apology.

She said: “Apologies for the interruption to breakfast there. we had a fire alarm that went off in the building. We are back on track now.”
