Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo reveal how Poor Things roles made them feel
Hollywood stars Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo attended the premiere of Poor Things alongside their co-stars in London on Thursday 14 December.
The black comedy fantasy film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, focuses on Bella Baxter, a young Victorian woman who, after being crudely resurrected by a scientist following her suicide, runs off with a debauched lawyer.
Speaking on the red carpet, Stone explained how she was “inspired” by her character Bella, who is “fascinated by every aspect that life has to offer”.
Ruffalo, meanwhile, described Poor Things as a “radical film”.
