Jonathan Ross confirms VIP guests joining him to host Oscars
Jonathan Ross has revealed he will be joined by celebrity guests for ITV’s coverage of the 2024 Oscars.
The host will be broadcasting live from Hollywood alongside Richard Armitage, Ben Bailey Smith, Fay Ripley and Yinka Bokinni for the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday night (10 March).
Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster Oppenheimer is expected to dominate the Oscars and is the heavy favourite to win Best Picture, while star Cillian Murphy is tipped to win Best Actor.
Nolan himself is expected to win the Best Director gong for the 2023 film.
Poor Things star Emma Stone, meanwhile, could win Best Actress on Sunday night, but faces competition from Lily Gladstone, Annette Bening, Sandra Hüller and Carey Mulligan.
