Olly Murs says ‘it’s so horrible’ as he is separated from newborn daughter

Olly Murs posted a video message to his fans telling them “it is so horrible” after he was separated from his newborn daughter just hours after announcing her birth.

The singer revealed he and his wife Amelia Tank had welcomed their first child on Wednesday (17 April), however just hours after sharing his announcement, the 39-year-old was back to work.

He is currently supporting Take That on their This Life On Tour shows and took to the stage at their Leeds concert on Wednesday night.

In his Instagram post, the singer said: “It was so horrible to say goodbye to Maddison this morning and Amelia. But the show must go on. I am here tonight."
