Sir Michael Palin has revealed he still hears his late wife’s voice telling him to “get on with it” as he shared his new travel plans.
The 80-year-old’s partner Helen died in May, just weeks after their 57th wedding anniversary, following a battle with chronic pain and kidney failure.
Speaking of her death, he told Lorraine Kelly that Helen would not want him to “mope about” as he revealed he is back on the road for a new TV adventure.
He said: “I’m going to west Africa soon. I’m getting back on the road, I hope I will be okay.”
