Meg 2: Jason Statham returns to battle Megladon sharks and dinosaur in new film

The first trailer for Meg 2: The Trench has teased Jason Statham’s return to battle a terrifying creature of the deep.

In the sequel, which is due to be released on 4 August, Jonas Taylor will once again go to war with a giant megalodon shark.

He will be teaming up with Jing Wu, of Wolf Warrior fame, to head up a research team on a dive to the deepest part of the ocean, though their journey is hampered by a mysterious mining operation - and multiple Megs.
