Mariah Carey accidentally texts Shawn Mendes in hilarious exchange

Mariah Carey has let Shawn Mendes in on a hilarious family joke, it’s been revealed.

Chart-topping singer Mariah, 52, has shared an awkward incident which happened on St. Paddy’s Day, after she accidentally texted fellow pop sensation Shawn Mendes, 23, instead of her cousin.

According to her, Mariah usually texts her cousin - who is also called Shawn - wishing him a happy Thanksgiving every St. Patrick’s Day, but this year she sent the message to the wrong person.
