Maggie Smith shares question she always used to get from young Harry Potter fans
A clip has resurfaced of Dame Maggie Smith sharing the question she’d always get asked by young Harry Potter fans, following the Professor McGonagall actor’s death aged 89.
In an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in 2015, the actor revealed that she’d always get stopped by youngsters in the street, who were desperate to know if she really morphed into a cat like her character.
Joking about her response, she quipped: “I heard myself say, ‘Pull yourself together, how could I have been!’”
The two-time Oscar winner died in hospital on 27 September, “surrounded by friends and family”.
