Lorraine Kelly pauses show to announce tragic death of ITV show co-star
Lorraine Kelly paused her ITV show on Monday (7 October) to announce the sad death of one of her co-stars.
The presenter paid tribute to heather Sawyer, a member of her Change and Check Choir, who died from secondary breast cancer at the age of 50.
Lorraine told viewers: “I'm very sorry to have to share some sad news this morning. One of our amazing singers, Heather Sawyer, has died from secondary breast cancer. Heather was only 50 years old, an astonishing woman.
“She was such a huge part of the choir, so passionate about everything. Amazing.”
