Lil Yachty urges fans to form mosh pit before security stop show over safety concerns
Lil Yachty’s show in Vancouver came to an abrupt end after the rapper urged fans to rush to the stage, before security were forced to intervene and cancel the concert.
The star, 26, told fans to “come on down” at the start of his show and “fill it up”.
Footage shows hundreds of concertgoers rapidly flocking toward the mosh pit.
The artist performed a couple more songs before organisers turned off his microphone and turned up the house lights, according to reports.
The venue issued a statement Sunday confirming that the show was cancelled due to Lil Yachty’s actions creating a dangerous environment for concertgoers.
