Lewis Hamilton reveals David Bowie sent him a guitar before his death

The late David Bowie once sent F1 star Lewis Hamilton a gift of two beautiful guitars, without revealing he was the sender.

“A couple of years ago, I got home to this beautiful gift of these two guitars, and I had no idea where they were from or who they came from,” Hamilton explained.

Since discovering it was sent by Bowie before his death in 2017, Hamilton has promised to “cherish” the instruments.

“I never got to say thank you him or his family so if they see this, thank you so much for this. Love,” he said.
