Strictly: Layton Williams shares reaction to standing ovation from Craig Revel Horwood

Layton Williams has revealed his reaction to receiving a standing ovation from Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood in last weekend’s semi-final.

The judges were overwhelmed by his performance of a Charleston alongside professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.

When it came to the judge’s comments, Revel Horwood stood and clapped his hands, before telling Williams that it was one of the “best” Charlestons he’s ever seen.

The actor responded to the moment during an interview on Strictly: It Takes Two on Thursday night (14 December).

“I didn’t know what was going to come out of his mouth,” Williams said, adding that he was “shook”.

“It was the biggest pat on the back.”
