Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick celebrated the end of Christmas by releasing a parody cover of “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” to their Instagram pages.

With the Footloose star and his son Travis on the guitar, the song’s lyrics hit a decidedly bah-humbug note, cheering for the end of Christmas songs, Rudolf, and Frosty the Snowman.

The cover featured cameos from the whole Bacon family, who performed in front of floor-to-ceiling windows at a stunning beachfront property.

Commenters flocked to compliment the track and Kyra’s performance in particular — who according to one viewer has a future in “smart-ass rock.”
