Ken Bruce surprised with party to celebrate start of Greatest Hits Radio show
Ken Bruce was welcomed to Greatest Hits Radio with a surprise party that included a Mariachi band, acrobats and disco ball dancers.
The Scottish presenter, 72, left the BBC at the start of March and has since joined the commercial station.
Bruce, who had a following of more than eight million listeners on BBC Radio 2, kicked off his new show on Greatest Hits Radio today, weeks after leaving the public broadcaster.
He began with the Beatles’ 1969 hit, “Come Together”.
