Game of Thrones star criticises people ‘ignoring’ Gaza conflict
Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham has said the internet “will not forget” those who did not express support for Palestinians.
The Irish actor, 62, has been participating in pro-Palestinian solidarity campaigns for 30 to 40 years.
“What concerns me is that the people who do care and are not doing anything are, in my opinion, worse than the people who don’t care,” he said on Wednesday 24 April.
“It’s live-streamed, this genocide – and the option to say you didn’t know is not an option. You did know and you did nothing, you stayed quiet.”
