The Fall Guy star Ryan Gosling campaigns for stunt performer category at Oscars
Ryan Gosling has launched a campaign to persuade the bosses behind the Oscars to bring in a new category to recognise the work of stunt performers.
The Hollywood icon, 43, praised the work of stunt performers at the premiere of his new film, The Fall Guy.
He plays battle-scarred stuntman Colt Seavers in the new release.
“This movie is just a giant campaign to get stunts an Oscar category,” Gosling said.
“We are the face of these films, but the crews really make the movies, and this is a love letter to them.”
