Esther Rantzen’s daughter has opened up on her mother’s decision to join the assisted dying clinic, Dignitas.
Rebecca Wilcox appeared on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (19 December), after the broadcaster revealed her decision to join the Swiss clinic, following her stage four lung cancer diagnosis.
Ms Wilcox said: “I would personally want to ground her plane if she was flying, I just don’t want her to go.”
When asked if she thinks her mother has made the right decision, Ms Wilcox replied: “Absolutely.”
She added: “I don’t want her to die but I want her to have the choice.”
