Dominic West admitted his view of King Charles changed while he was filming The Crown.
The 54-year-old, who played Prince Charles in the hit Netflix series, was quizzed on his role in the royal drama by Dermot O’Leary when he appeared on This Morning on Friday (24 May).
West said: “It was a hugely tumultuous time, it was his divorce and then the death of Diana.
“We were extra sensitive about that. We were doing all these stories I remember appearing in the media
“People made a certain judgment but when you look into it, I had a lot more sympathy for him than back in the day.”
