Vanessa Williams’ biggest UK culture shock as she prepares for The Devil Wears Prada’s West End debut
Vanessa Williams has opened up on the biggest culture shock of her time in the UK so far as she prepares to star in The Devil Wears Prada on London’s West End.
The Tony-nominated Ugly Betty star spent time in Plymouth this summer, where the musical played a pre-West End season.
Featuring an original score by Elton John, the musical follows aspiring journalist Andy who lands a job at Runway magazine under the formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Williams).
Speaking at the Pride of Britain awards on Monday (21 October), Wiliams told The Independent what she’s had to get used to since landing in the UK.
