Chris Hemsworth shares close encounter with massive spider

Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram to share his recent close encounter with a huge spider.

The Marvel star, 40, is seen standing by a web, surrounded by greenery in a video shared with his followers on Wednesday 26 June.

“Look at that,” Hemsworth whispers as he moved the camera towards the arachnid.

The spider then appeared to startle him with some quick movement, before going back to its former position on the web.

“Didn’t even scare me,” Hemsworth joked, captioning the video.

Plenty of fans reacted to his terrifying encounter in the comments.

“How did you not run away?” one asked.

Another joked: “The most normal day in Australia.”
