Watch: Bradley Cooper stars as legendary conductor Leonard Bernstein in ‘Maestro’ trailer
Viewers have been given an early look at Bradley Cooper as American composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein in the first trailer for Maestro.
Released on Tuesday, 15 August, the teaser clip shows the actor playing the renowned musician, who was Jewish.
The film tells the story of the relationship between Bernstein and his wife, Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein (Carey Mulligan).
Cooper has been criticised for wearing a prosthetic nose in order to play older versions of his character.
Fans have accused the star of “fuelling antisemitic stereotypes”.
