Tornado tearing through Texas rips canopy apart

Footage of a tornado making its way through Dallas, Texas shows the awesome power of these destructive weather events.

Filmed by Francisco Hernandez, you can see the canopy start to shake on its foundations before it's entirely ripped away – and blown to pieces by the tornado.

In the aftermath, there are bits of debris and broken trees littered all over the car park as the rain continues to fall after the tornado has moved on to other areas in the US.
