Your support makes all the difference.Donald Trump was messing with the wrong person when he decided to mock Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal resolution during a speech in El Paso, Texas on Monday.
Kicking off his 2020 campaign, the US president took the stage at a rally in the Texan border city to mock the new proposal introduced by AOC and senator Markey, comparing it to a "high school term paper that got a low mark".
He also said that it amounted to "taking away your car and taking away your plane flights" (whatever that means).
But the congresswoman and all-around millennial hero Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez didn't let his comments slide, as she took to Twitter to call the president out in the most brutal manner.

The 29-year-old is referring to a Time Magazine article that reported last week that intelligence officials are having a hard time getting the president to care what's going on outside of the country.
Citing multiple in-person episodes, these intelligence officials say Trump displays what one called 'willful ignorance' when presented with analyses generated by America’s $81 billion-a-year intelligence services.
The officials, who include analysts who prepare Trump’s briefs and the briefers themselves, describe futile attempts to keep his attention by using visual aids, confining some briefing points to two or three sentences, and repeating his name and title as frequently as possible.
It seems like the president still needs to do his homework, and (properly) read up on what the Democrat's deal is really proposing.
For now, he's just been given the Ocasio-Crotez treatment.
