Castellon: visit the walled city of Peñíscola
Game of Thrones may have come to an end, but that hasn’t stopped us flocking to visit the gorgeous locations used on the TV show. And it’s no wonder – the location scout clearly had a great time scouring the planet for the coolest places to shoot. Peñíscola is one such spot. This pretty walled city is right on the sea, and doubled up for the city of Meereen on the show. Take your time ambling around the 14th century castle, through the cobbled streets, and soak up the charming view from the city walls.
Grenoble: see the mountains on skis
Nestled in the middle of three mountain ranges, Grenoble is the gateway to some of the best skiing you could ask for. Whether you want to hit the Olympian trails around Chamrousse, go off piste at La Grave or ski with the family at Saint Pierre de Chartreuse, there are resorts that suit all levels. It’s not just skiing, either – there’s world-class snow boarding, snowshoeing and dog sledding, all around the region. And, of course, the views are incredible, with the jagged backdrops of the Alps stretching as far as the eye can see. The fondue ain’t so bad, either.
St Petersburg: grab a cocktail at Bellevue

Here, you can sit out on one of the three open terraces as you look out over Palace Square and the twinkling lights of the city. Tel Aviv: head to Old Jaffa
Tel Aviv is a captivating city. With beautiful, sandy beaches, a vibrant nightlife and gleaming skyscrapers, this is a place that is at once dizzying and new, yet blissfully chilled out. For a great perspective of the city, head out to Old Jaffa, a charming district filled with winding streets and an excellent flea market. In truth, this is a pretty enough sight on its own… but when you stand on the beach, the view back to the modern part of the city is stunning. Afterwards, head to Alma Beach, grab a bite in one of the waterside restaurants and watch the sun go down.
