Your support makes all the difference.Looking as if it's been airlifted straight from the Loire Valley, they call this a château for a reason – a grey-stone, turreted building that sits on a peak overlooking the Menai Straits between Anglesey and mainland Wales.
Anglesey has always felt a little apart from the rest of Wales, and staying in a grand French château makes it feel even more so – plus it's a great base for exploring the island. It has 30 beautifully designed, contemporary-style bedrooms, self-catering accommodation in a series of unique lodges, stables and other outbuildings, and a whole range of activities and things to do, including kayaking and RIB rides on the Menai Straits.
There are of course any number of other options in close proximity of the hotel, not least Snowdonia National Park, the mountain railway, Penrhyn Zipwire and more. But to be honest we wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to leave the hotel at all, which on top of its comfy rooms boasts a hot tub and sauna, a private beach and a set of beautiful gardens. Not only that but their award-winning restaurant is pretty good too. If there is a better place to stay on this part of Anglesey then we've yet to hear about it.
