Your support helps us to tell the story

As your White House correspondent, I ask the tough questions and seek the answers that matter.

Your support enables me to be in the room, pressing for transparency and accountability. Without your contributions, we wouldn't have the resources to challenge those in power.

Your donation makes it possible for us to keep doing this important work, keeping you informed every step of the way to the November election

Which travel personality has done more for travellers than any other, through innovation or inspiration?

Perhaps it was 19th-century pioneer Thomas Cook, who led the first organised package holidays. Or Isabella Bird, the 19th-century explorer, adventurer, naturalist, photographer and writer who travelled to America, Hawaii, Persia, Japan and China.

Has 21st-century screen globetrotter Michael Palin inspired the adventurer in you, or indeed Simon Reeve, who seeks out the dark side of dream holiday destinations, ensuring that both sides of the story are told.

When so much of our world is now familiar, is it still possible to be an adventurer? Let us know who you think deserves to win the Readers' Choice Award - the only category which will be decided purely on your nominations.
