You and a friend will fly from London to Islamabad, Pakistan. From there you will join a Dragoman tour group and travel through Pakistan and India to Nepal, taking in highlights such as the historic city of Lahore, the Taj Mahal, the Golden Temple of Amritsar, camel trekking in Jaisalmer, the Amber Palace of Jaipur and Kathmandu.
The prize includes return flights from London and all travel during the trip, 27 nights' accommodation either camping or in hotels, most meals, the use of equipment, the services of a crew and local guides, and national and game park entrance fees. The winner will be allowed to nominate from specified departure dates, subject to availability.
Our winner and companion and 20 runners-up will each win a travel pack of The Body Shop's EAU NO! range, worth pounds 30.25. This innovative travel kit includes shampoo and multi-purpose wash that require no water to use, allowing travellers to freshen-up where access to water is limited and to help to conserve water at the same time. The winner and runners up will also receive a copy of The Rough Guide to India and The Rough Guide to Nepal, the essential guides for travellers venturing off the beaten track.

How to enter
Just answer the following questions and send your reply with your name address and telephone number on a postcard to `Mogul Empire' Competition, The Travel Desk, Independent on Sunday, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5DL, to arrive no later than first post on 18 August. The winner will be the first correct entry drawn at random on 19 August. The winner and runners-up will be notified in writing and their names will be published in the Independent on Sunday on 22 August.

Normal Independent competition rules apply. Dragoman's usual terms and conditions apply for the holiday. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per household. Entrants and the winner's travelling companion must be aged 18 or over. Employees of Independent Newspapers, Dragoman, The Body Shop and Rough Guides, their agents and members of their families and households are not eligible to enter. No correspondence will be entered into and there is no cash alternative. The prize is not transferable and the editor's decision is final. Travel insurance, personal spending money and some meals are not included. The winner and companion are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate passports, visas and vaccinations.
