IN A new programme called Take Off Touch Down, Forte Hotels (0345 40 40 40) has special deals for accommodation at more than 15 hotels near UK airports. Prices start at pounds 39.50 per night per room with free car parking at many hotels for up to 21 days.

At all Forte Crest Hotels at the weekends children stay free in their own room; at all other hotels, children stay free when sharing with two adults. Forte has two hotels at Gatwick and three hotels at Heathrow.
