The Chatwal New York opened as the first of Sant Singh Chatwal's self-branded chain, offering luxury rooms in a 1930s Deco design environment. The hotel offers a Kashwére spa, saltwater pool, restaurant and bar.

New York, USA

The 100-room Hotel Indigo is situated a stone's throw from the Hamptons and the vineyards of Eastern Long Island and is set across 8 private acres (3.2 hectares) of land. It offers a restaurant serving cuisine made from locally grown produce and regional wines, as well as a fitness center, oversized beds and free wifi.

Taj Mahal Palace Hotel

The 107-year-old hotel Taj Mahal Palace reopened this week 18 months after a deadly attack that left it with significant damage. New additions include the Ravi Shankar suite, while experts have restored the priceless chandeliers, antique chests and marble flooring that made the hotel so famous.
