Hilton began an opening offer for its latest New York property, while Marriott opened a new hotel in Moscow.

The Trump SoHo, a 46-storey, 391-room glass tower in the center of downtown Manhattan, is one of the most impressive properties in Trump's portfolio. Boasting the largest penthouse suite on the East Coast, an 11,000 square foot (1,021 square meter) spa with outdoor pool deck and bar, and personal chefs for the suites, the hotel is running special The Apprentice packages to celebrate its opening.

Hilton has announced reduced opening rates from April 7 for its new 300-room property, the brand's fourth in Manhattan. Every room includes a 42-inch flat screen television and marble bathrooms and there are two restaurants serving American and international cuisine.
