With suites costing up to 11,000 dollars for one night, the Armani hotel boasts a restaurant, a spa and the largest LCD television in the world. The hotel has no paintings on the walls in an attempt to "keep it simple and elegant" and is situated in the lower floors of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai's iconic 828-meter superstructure.

Marina Bay Sands
Singapore
At the Feng-Shui approved time of 3:18 PM (07:18 GMT) on April 27, Las Vegas giants Sands threw open the doors of the Marina Bay Sands, first stage of Singapore's second "integrated resort." For the launch, 963 out of 2,560 hotel rooms are open at the Sands, along with parts of the shopping mall and casino - the rest of the complex will open on June 23.

The Oberoi Mumbai

The Oberoi Mumbai has reopened after an extensive refurbishment, with two new restaurants and a personal butler service for every guest. The 73 suites and 214 guest rooms have also been renovated to include dark oak wood floors, hand-tufted rugs, iPod docking stations, high-definition televisions and marble bathrooms.

The Mercure Beijing marks Accor's 400th property in Asia, a sign of the group's focus on the market. The 373-room hotel boasts two restaurants, six private dining rooms, a gym, sauna and massage suite.
