US Airways has announced a new route between Manchester and its largest American hub, Charlotte in North Carolina, from 22 May next year (usairways.com).

Dutch master
A new lifestyle hotel, art'otel amsterdam, has just opened opposite Centraal Station in the Dutch capital. It displays artworks by Atelier Van Lieshout.
