Inntravel has enhanced its roster of rustic self-catering properties with new options including farm cottages set amid vineyards in Madeira and farmhouse apartments in the Camargue (inntravel.co.uk).
The flight
CityJet will start flights from Cardiff to Glasgow and Paris Orly from 20 January. The flights replace Flybe services. Flights to Edinburgh and Jersey will start on 30 March (cityjet.com).
The hotel
The Loews Regency New York Hotel reopens on 16 January after an 18-month, $100m renovation. Located on Park Avenue, it is a short stroll from Central Park and the Museum Mile (loewshotels.com).
