Pantone, the international brand best known for its rainbow color palettes, has opened a "colorific" hotel in Belgium.
Offering a different color palette on each of its seven floors, the Pantone Hotel is a boutique property aimed at style-conscious visitors to the Belgian capital.
The 59 guest rooms are described as "works of art" by Pantone, using white walls and bedding as the canvas for swatches of vibrant color, alongside works by Belgian photographer Victor Levy.
Color schemes through the hotel range from "earth, rich" to "cheerful, warm," "captivating, esteemed, silky" or "fresh, eager."
The hotel also offers the Pantone Lounge, which offers cocktails suited to guests' moods, such as Pink Champagne PANTONE 12-1107, Lemon Drop PANTONE 12-0736 or Daiquiri Green PANTONE 12-0435.
The Pantone hotel follows the company's move into other branded merchandise such as mugs and clothing and includes amenities from the collection and the largest selection of Pantone products worldwide.
Boutique hotels have become a popular way for design brands to familiarize the public with their work.
Last year, British designer Sir Terence Conran opened the Boundary Hotel in London, with rooms and furniture provided by his own lines.
French designer Philippe Starck has also designed several hotels, most recently the 27-room Palazzina Grassi in Venice.
