Sunvil Traveller is offering the chance to spend New Year's Eve dancing on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. Italian specialist Citalia has started its January sale early, with a range of enticing escapes available to book from now until Thursday, 31 January. Examples of deals range from a three-night break to Rome (£189pp, departing on 26 February, with B&B at the San Remo Hotel) to a week on the shores of Lake Garda (£675pp, departing on 2 May with transfers and half-board at the Hotel Olivi). Both include return easyJet flights from Gatwick (citalia.com).
