Go west

If your holiday budget extends to £900, then you'll still have (£1) change from an all-inclusive break to Antigua or Mexico with Hayes & Jarvis. The tour operator's Easter sale has just launched and includes a seven-night stay at the Jolly Beach Resort in Antigua. The price includes return flights with British Airways departing from Gatwick in June. The same rate applies for a week's stay at Mexico's five-star El Dorado Royale hotel (above) on the Mayan Riviera during September, with BA flights from Gatwick and transfers included. Book by 3 May.

Portugal without the crowds

Sunvil Discovery is offering a deal to explore the Portuguese region of Alentejo for £420 per person. The price includes a week's B&B at the Casa da Eira hotel in Vila Nova de Milfontes. The tour operator's new charter flights from Heathrow to Beja are also included, departing on the first three Sundays of June (5, 12, 19). The region is known for its rugged countryside, wine and cuisine, making it a great choice for foodies and ramblers alike.
