Your support makes all the difference.Hotel room rates in Europe stayed relatively stable in February, according to figures released February 16 by Trivago.com.
The average cost for a night in a European hotels is €107 this month, a three percent rise on last month but fairly static compared to the same month in 2010.
The Spanish city of Barcelona saw one of the largest hikes, rocketing 20 percent this month compared to last, to €115, while Oslo has also jumped 17 percent to €176 and Dublin and London are both up 14 percent to €99 and €161 respectively.
Those rises have been cancelled out by falls in some areas, including the Czech capital Prague, where prices are down 20 percent to €68, Salzburg, down 14 percent to €99 and Istanbul, where prices have dropped ten percent to €86.
The figures show that Geneva remains Europe's most expensive destination, at an average of €229 a night, while the Spanish cities of Seville and Granada offer some of the region's best bargains at €77 and €69 respectively.
