From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. To mark the end of 2015, Microsoft has released the Xbox Year in Review, which lets gamers see a summary of their Xbox stats throughout the year.
The list of facts and figures, which will inspire pride in some and sadness in others, includes how many hours you spent playing Xbox Live, what your most-played game was, and the rarest achievements you unlocked, and many more.
To access the year in review, Xbox Live users need to go to the official page and log in with their Microsoft account.
You even get to see where you compare with your Xbox Live friends and the rest of the world, with the report telling you what percentile of the world's gamers you're in for each category.
From there you can share the stats, or even download a poster of the infographic, possibly to stick up in your living room to remind you of all the year's fun, or to motivate you in your New Years' Resolution to not spend quite so much of your free time playing Halo 5.
