Microbloggers are congratulating country singer Taylor Swift for winning the Academy of Country Music (ACM) entertainer of the year award - one of the biggest awards in the country music scene - on the morning of April 4.

Swift made sure her fans were with her every step of the way during the awards ceremony on Sunday, April 3.

She shared a picture of her dress and posted a video of herself backstage at the ACMs via her Twitter account (@taylorswift13) before tweeting "This is one of the best nights I've ever had. Thank you so much."

American Network carrier Verizon is promoting the finals of its Messaging Mania competition with today’s number one hashtag “#MM2011 Finals.”

The hashtags "#ilovewhen," "#sincewebeinghonest" and "#thingsthatpissmeoff" are in second, third and fourth places.

Attahiru "Jega," the Chairman of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is in seventh place.

"iJever," the Twitter alias of "Australia’s Justin Bieber" aka Jamie Laou, is in sixth place, the name of American wrestler "Kurt Angle" is in eighth place and the name of Cuban actor "William Levy" is in tenth place.
