Your support makes all the difference.LG has integrated new technology into its Optimus 7 smartphone that makes it possible to instantly share and transfer multimedia files between devices with just a flick of a finger. The technology is on show at LG's booth at IFA in Berlin, Germany until September 7.
Using LG's soon-to-be-released Optimus 7 handset and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant digital devices, users can send 720p HD videos, high-resolution photos and music files from the media gallery to any compatible device on the same WiFi network.
"This unique feature is a direct response to the growing need for technologies that empower users to share multimedia content across electronic devices," said Mr. Seong-jin Park, vice president of Mobile Handset R&D Center at LG Electronics Inc. on September 6.
"LG Optimus 7 smartphones will be at the center of a complete entertainment experience, representing LG's leadership in mobile convergence."
There are currently more than 8,000 DLNA-compliant devices including home theaters, TVs, computers, cameras, game consoles and mobile phones.
The technology will be a built-in feature on LG's Optimus 7 smartphones when they go on sale during the fourth quarter of 2010.
