Mobile ex Showstoppers and Mobile Entertainment Live! will also take place under the header of CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment.

Windows Mobile 6.5 released worldwide

Microsoft Corp. will launch a new brand, "Windows Phone," that will group together phones running its Windows Mobile software and a new version of their mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 6.5 on October 6. Windows Phones, made by leading phone manufactures including HP, HTC Corp., LG Electronics, Sony Ericsson and Samsung among others, will feature Windows Mobile 6.5 with LG's GM750 to be the first to feature the software when it is released on October 6.
