From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Hundreds of thousands watched live as YouTube stars KSI and Joe Weller took their online arguments into a real-life boxing ring, and millions more have since tuned in to catch up on the action.
The pair feuded in videos and on social media for months before their fight at the Copperbox, which gamer-turned-rapper KSI won by technical knockout in the third of six scheduled rounds. As soon as the bout ended, KSI's attention turned to Logan Paul - in fact, it turned to both of the Paul brothers, he didn't care as long as he could just fight one of them.
From there arguments were had in similar fashion to the ones previously seen with Weller, both contractual and whatever level of trash talk the pair think they're capable of producing and both got their wish: the biggest amateur boxing match in history. So here's everything you need to know about it.
When is it?
The fight is on Saturday, 25th August 2018. It's always difficult to predict when a boxing ring walk will be but the event kicks off at 7pm, so expect to see the main event anywhere from 10pm onwards.
Where is it?
Manchester Arena in front of a sold out crowd of 21,000 screaming (children) fans.
Who's on the undercard?
The co-main event are the little brothers.
Deji vs Jake Paul (co-main event)
JMX vs Coach Richard
MOMO vs RossiHD
AnEsonGib vs Jake Swingler
FaZe Sensei vs overtflow
Rackaracka vs Scarce
Call me Ham vs Jrizzy Jeremy
Where and how can I watch it?
You'll be able to find it on YouTube.com/KSIvsLogan, where the pair have created a joint channel for the event. It will be a paid-for night of boxing, setting you back a cool £7.50.
Can I still get tickets?
You can indeed. Visit StubHub for some overpriced tickets for what will certainly be a disappointing and in the end, not worthwhile event.
What's at stake?
Pride – and lots of it. There's also a belt that KSI has been holding onto since beating Weller, so whoever wins this one will take that home.
What are the latest odds?
That's right, you can actually bet on this event.
KSI: 4/5
Logan Paul: 1/1
Draw: 18/1
What's our prediction?
Pure banter. Pure fire and banter. Probably a KSI win on top of that.
