From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Just Dance 2 is the Wii's best-selling game published by any company other than Nintendo - so say its makers at Ubisoft.

The news puts Just Dance 2 ahead of Sega's Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, though behind a clutch of Nintendo's own best-sellers.

The ubiquitous Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii are certain to maintain comfortable positions in the Wii's all-time top ten, though Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl would be looking over their shoulders as Just Dance 2 moves closer.

Ubisoft made the announcement as a Just Dance 2 booster pack hits shop shelves on July 15 in the UK, July 19 in North America, and July 21 in other European regions.

Just Dance Summer Party (known as Just Dance 2 Extra Songs in Europe) bundles together over 20 songs in a $30 (€30/£20) collection.

Those songs are already available individually via Just Dance 2's in-game store, where most of them cost 300 Wii Points each ($3/€3/£2).

Next in the series, Just Dance 3, is due the second week in October for Wii, Xbox Kinect and PlayStation Move.
