Your support makes all the difference.The blockbuster film Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, may be turned into a video game, the director Christopher Nolan revealed in a press conference in Rome to promote the film which opens on September 24 in Italy.
A video game version of Inception "has all kinds of ideas that you can't fit into a feature film," Nolan said, according to entertainment publication Variety. "That's something we've been talking about and are looking at doing long term, in a couple of years."
"I did always intend for this film to give a mass audience a really entertaining experience," he explained. "But my fear with the film was always that it would be misinterpreted as being overly cerebral or puzzle-like."
The complex effects in the sci-fi thriller lend themselves to a video game but it seems to be a ways off from retail shelves. Fans got a taste with Inception's viral website campaign which offered a video game with players drawing a maze and running through it.
The film released in the US July 16 and in many countries around the world since that time and has made more than $750 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.
Nolan's next film project is a Batman sequel.
