New Google Feed knows everything you've ever been interested in
As your passions change, so will the content

The Google app has been treated to a makeover, with the rollout of the new localised Feed.
The company is using your search history to work out what your hobbies are and what subjects and areas of news you’re into, and compiling relevant content it thinks you’ll engage with.
As your personal interests change, so will the feed.
So, for instance, if you’re interested in football and cooking, but your passion for the former grows at the expense of the latter, your feed will evolve to reflect this.
It will not only use your Google search history, but will also rely on data gathered from the company’s other main services, such as Maps and YouTube.
It will display a mix of different types of content, including news stories, videos, sports scores and updates about public figures and topics you want to know more about.
“The Feed will appear as a tab within the Google app on Android, and provides users with a window into their world and the wider web throughout the day,” says Google.
“It provides a ‘glanceable’, feature-rich feed of their favourite subjects, niche hobbies and trending news.
“Want to keep up to speed with the latest news from your favourite football team, be among the first to see a new music video from your favourite artist, or know the latest tweet from a prominent world leader? The Feed is the place to be.”
The Feed launched in the US in July, but is finally rolling out globally.
It’s only available on Android handsets right now, but will come to iOS devices and Google’s mobile site in the future.
