From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Game of Thrones season seven gets underway this weekend.

The first episode, Dragonstone, will air in the US on 16 July 9pm EST, with the second, Stormborn, following a week later and the third, The Queen's Justice, landing on 30 July.

The seventh and final episode, the title of which has not yet been revealed, is set for 27 August.

Here’s how to stream the penultimate season of the hugely popular show.

In the UK, Sky Atlantic will air new episodes the day after they’re shown in the US, with the season premiere being screened at 2am on 27 May.

Sky and NowTV subscribers don’t have to stay up if they don’t want to though. It will be available to stream through NowTV and Sky Go from 2am, and will also be screened again at 9pm.

If you’re not already a Sky customer, we’d recommend taking a look at the NowTV Entertainment Pass first.

You can get a 14-day free trial when you sign up, but after that it’s £6.99 a month.

However, that will rise to £7.99 a month from August 15th, just after episode five airs.

In the US, Game of Thrones season seven is, of course, being shown by HBO, and each episode will be available to stream through HBO Go.
