A slew of rumours surrounding the Galaxy S10 mean there are few secrets left to reveal about Samsung's highly-anticipated flagship smartphone.

One unknown that still remains, however, is the release date and price of the Galaxy S9 successor and its variants.

Industry speculation has so far suggested the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona on 25 February could be a likely launch date, but a fresh leak claims it could come even sooner.

The Galaxy S10 will instead be unveiled at a Samsung event ahead of MWC, with pre-orders beginning from this yet-to-be revealed date.

The smartphone will then be released on 8 March 2019.

The latest leak, reported by Gizmodo, cites a source at a "major tech retailer" in revealing the release date, as well as details surrounding the size and price of the next-generation device.

Previous rumours surrounding the various iterations of the device appear to be confirmed by the latest report, with the publication claiming the Samsung Galaxy S10 will come in three size variants: the Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+.

The regular Galaxy S10 version will feature a 6.1-inch screen, while the Galaxy S10 Lite will have a 5.8-inch screen and the Galaxy S10+ is expected to have a 6.4-inch screen.

Each variant will also come with various storage options, with prices ranging from £699 for the cheapest 128 GB S10 Lite version, to £1,399 for the most expensive 1TB S10+ version.

Last week, notorious leaker Evan Blass shared designs that revealed the expectations of a case manufacturer for the Galaxy S10 range.

The designs showed how Samsung may negate the need for a notch at the top of the screen, which was popularized by Apple with the release of the iPhone X.

Instead, a hole-punch design will allow the South Korean tech giant to maximise the Galaxy S10 display size while also allowing for a front-facing camera.

Earlier rumours surrounding the Galaxy S10 have included the possibility of a self-healing screen, as well as a multi-lens array for its rear camera.
