Rage, a first person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world, was the most downloaded free application for the iPad over the past week in countries throughout Europe and Japan. The game casts players as contestants on a violent game show in a post-apocalyptic world where they must fight against hungry mutants in order to survive and win. Rage and other top free iPad applications by country* for the week, by number of downloads, recorded on August 22 can be found below.
